Eligibility (Who can attend)
BE/ BTech in Mechanical/ Automobile/ any other equivalent degree OR Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ any other equivalent degree with minimum 2 years of experience in automobile industry.

- Classification – based on body tyres, load carrying capacity, models.
- Vehicle Configuration.
Axles- steer axle, drive axle, dummy axle, lift axle.
- Tyre introduction and types. RadialVs Bias, Wheel Rim, Tube Vs Tubeless, Tyre Selection, Tread Design consideration, Tyre sidewall information, Tube and flap size markings, Tyre defects and wear
- HCV front axlePrincipal and working, Components and their functions.
HCV Steering System- Principle of working, components and their functions, Steering GeometryCamber, Castor, Toe In, Toe Out.
- Types of Suspension system.
Rigid axle suspensionPrinciple and Working, Suspension failures and their causes.
- Types of Tyre Number Identification (brand and model wise), Tyre Non Skid Depth (NSD) measurement, Inflation pressure, Defect Identification.
